Funky Friday and the "one,"

Good morning my Super Sexy Modern Latina's!!! I apologize for not posting a blog yesterday. Yesterday's blog was supposed to be entitled "Freaky Friday." My words for a romantic night with my marido/hubby. Pero tu sabes, nena. "Freaky Friday," can turn pretty sour in an instant! So my plans for "Freaky Friday," turned into Funky Friday. Por que, you might ask??? Well nena, it's like this....If you are married, you have one. If you are lucky, you have a nice and sweet one. If you are super lucky, you have one that lives far, far, away! But if you are like the rest of the married population, this "one," lives in your same town and isn't so sweet to you all the time. Let me ask you this nena? Is it ever okay for this "one," to treat you how ever they want because they are "super old," and you married their prized possession, who no one, not even Salma Hayek will ever be good enough for? It happened like this nena: So we take this "one," to dinner last night and the waitress brings our comida. Before my plate even hits the table, this "one," doesn't ask me, but tells me that I am going to give her one of my shrimp, as she is taking it from my plate! Remember nena, the waitress hasn't even put my plate on the table, as she is grabbing for my shrimp. I am in utter shock mi'ja! Do I smack her hand, nena? And say drop the merchandise? No. I do neither of the above, because in our cultura, you respect your elders , and especially this "one." Does my marido stick up for me? Of course not!!! Because he is yapping away to his best friend who also joined us for dinner. This incident led to a lil spat between me and the hubby. Why nena? Por que you don't mess with a nena's comida, that's why. Especially a nena who is starving, okay? And besides what this "one," did was rude and disrespectful. But the marido, didn't feel like it was. And who feels like being "Freaky," with thoughts of this "one's," cackle floating around in my head as she steals my shrimp. So nena, I will have to explain how to plan a "Freaky Friday," for your sweetie at another time.
